Now entering her 5th year as Child Safety & Wellbeing Advocate at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Leisl’s focus is on creating safe and inclusive spaces for children in media, entertainment and broadcasting. Her role spans the ABC, working with Content, News, Audio and Digital to ensure that children remain central to storytelling and audience engagement.

Her professional journey spans over 15 years in content-making and television production, with expertise in development, production, writing, and management. Dedicated to safeguarding and improving children's involvement in media, Leisl’s aim is to empower the wider industry with information to strengthen child safety practice within the entertainment industry.
