Biography
Gillian Crosby is a screen producer who works in both Victoria and Tasmania.

She has produced multiple short films, music videos, commercials, audio productions and one (first and last) stage play. Her short film Game Face, which she wrote and directed as well as co-produced, is currently touring with Flickerfest’s Best Australian Shorts Programme.

She has recently joined the team at Truce Films as an Associate Producer, working across their slate of exciting projects in development under the mentorship of Head of Film and TV Jim Wright (a SPA Ones To Watch alumnus). As AP at Truce she will be involved with the development and production of their features One More Shot (winner of the MIFF 37 South prize for best pitch 2022), Moonshot, The Fine Cotton Fiasco, The Runner and more.

She is also continuing to develop her own slate of projects with Greta Nash and Gabrielle McLeod under the GGG Films banner. Their feature film School Camp has had two rounds of development with Screen Tasmania and they have just completed Heart Throb, a proof-of-concept short for the feature of the same name. They are also developing a TV series, Seize The Night, which Gillian will be pitching at MIPCOM 2023, which she is attending with the support of MIFF and Vicscreen. GGG has been working together since 2018, when their short film Two Piece won Tropfest.

In 2021 Gillian completed a Graduate Certificate of Creative Business through the Compton School under the mentorship of film producer Sue Maslin, who is also the executive producer of School Camp.

Before joining Truce, Gillian worked as a commercials producer at creative agencies Thinkerbell and Cummins & Partners, and as an audio producer at Bang Bang Studios.
