Biography
Tobias Willis is a filmmaker-turned-producer leading his own studio, KEWL. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Screen Business at AFTRS in Sydney, Tobias is involved in multiple projects at various stages of development and production.

As a film director, Tobias created the documentary Now Sound: Melbourne's Listening, which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2018. Following the success of Now Sound, Tobias shifted his focus to producing web series that nurture emerging talent. One such series is the offbeat romantic comedy Sex and Death, released in 2020 on SBS Viceland with funding from Screen Australia. Tobias and Kathleen Lee, the series' writer and director, are now moving to the financing stages of their first feature film, Romantic Information, in partnership with Princess Pictures.

In 2023, drawing on his background as a documentarian as producer, Tobias has spearheaded the production of an internationally financed feature documentary. The film is an action packed ocean conservation story set in the Gulf of California in Mexico, and marks the directorial debut by Clancy Walker.

Through KEWL Studio, Tobias is expanding his slate of projects, assembling a talented team, and establishing a strong business infrastructure to produce compelling stories from Australia for a global audience.
