Biography
Rita Artmann is the co-founder/co-creator of production company ArtSpear and associated YouTube channel ArtSpear Entertainment (3.4 million subscribers and almost 1 billion views).
Rita has been producing independent content for 14 years. Her work has won awards both locally and abroad. She is the sole producer and co-creator of mockumentary web series UnTrue Crime (Screen Australia and YouTube's Skip Ahead Initiative 2023) and multi-award-winning, internationally-distributed comedy feature films The Killage and Australiens (Monster Pictures, Midnight Releasing) as well as skit-comedy series The Void and The Void: Rebooted.
Rita is currently producing The Worst that Could Happen for Haven't You Done Well Productions and the Macfarlane Bros as part of the 2024 Skip Ahead Initiative. Most recently and excitingly, Rita has been selected as part of the 2024 Screen Producers Australia "Ones To Watch" cohort.
Starting her career as an actor, Rita has performed in film, TV, theatre and web series professionally for over 20 years. She has emulated hundreds of popular characters as the sole female voice artist and co-writer of the viral animated parody series Toon Sandwich.
