Biography
Georgia Noe is a producer and Screen Australia Enterprise People recipient, currently undertaking a 12-month placement in the role of Development & Production Associate at Studiocanal Australia and its production arm Cultivator Films. At Studiocanal, Georgia works across acquisitions, distribution, development and production, with a focus on discovering and producing stories that are commercially viable by leveraging marketplace metrics.

Her career spanning commercials and narrative, Georgia has produced work for Exit Films, West Street Sports under Junkyard Artists Management Group, Heckler, the Powerhouse Museum and leading independent production company Causeway Films where she spent two years as Manager, Development & Production, working on numerous feature films including TALK TO ME, THE MOOGAI and OF AN AGE. Her work has been acquired by the New York Times Op-Docs.

Georgia has produced a number of successful independent short films including HOW CAN I HELP YOU by writer/director Eliza Scanlen, starring Thomasin McKenzie and Hunter Page-Lochard, which has played at Sydney Film Festival, Flickerfest International Film Festival, Palm Springs International ShortFest, HollyShorts and continues its US festival run. THE DANCING GIRL AND THE BALLOON MAN by writer/director David Ma won the Dendy Award for Best Live Action Australian Short as well as the Event Cinemas Rising Talent Award at Sydney Film Festival 2023. It has also won awards at Flickerfest and St Kilda Film Festival, and is now being programmed on the European festival circuit.

Georgia is currently in post production on her first micro-budget feature, FRENCH GIRLS by writer/director Hyun Lee, which is executive produced by Nash Edgerton and Curious Films’ Matt Noonan. Georgia was selected for Platform: Lab 2024, a talent incubator run by For Film’s Sake in association with Sydney Film Festival, where she developed a completely new project in under 4 days culminating in a public pitch.
