Kara Pisconeri, one of the creative forces behind A Touch of Madness Studios, is a seasoned storyteller known for her ability to take script to screen in a way that connects with all kinds of audiences.
Kara has more than a decade’s experience producing feature films, field producing for broadcast media and commercial campaigns, and running a successful PR and marketing firm . As co-founder of A Touch of Madness Studios, Kara has produced romantic comedy IT ONLY TAKES A NIGHT (2023, Feature), and short films THE LAST TRIP (2024, CinefestOz Official Selection) and RUNNER (2021, WA Made Film Festival Short). Kara has worked across key roles both above and below the line, always ensuring the creative and commercial aspect of production work seamlessly together.
Kara has nearly two decades of experience working on famils, location logistics and event and production management for a range of tourism, news media and broadcast projects. Her passion goes beyond the screen, as a champion of inclusive workplaces having worked with organisations such as Inclusion Group Australia and Intelife WA.
Driven by a genuine passion for a collaborative industry, Kara strives to develop and produce content that showcases strong voices and brings to life characters who audiences connect with and find easy to consume, thanks to amazing talent partners from across the world.
