Biography
Michelle is an award-winning screen content producer and co-founder of Adelaide-based production company Hardy White Pictures. She brings over two decades of broad industry experience spanning multiple formats and genres.
Her scripted broadcast credits include co-producing Austin (Series 3 for ABC), associate producing three 6x1hr seasons of the rom-com drama Under the Vines (AcornTV/TVNZ), and serving as line producer attachment on the drama Treasure and Dirt (ABC). Her producing background also features sketch comedy Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am (ABC/NBCU), half-hour comedy Timothy (ABC), and the International Emmy® Award-winning series #7DaysLater (ABC).
Prior to focusing on scripted, Michelle worked across major factual programs like The Great Outdoors and Better Homes and Gardens, alongside producing global branded content campaigns for agencies, networks and production companies.
Expanding into executive roles, she spent three years as VP of Scripted Development at Essential Media, where she spearheaded the development and sale of Under The Vines.
A dedicated educator, Michelle has led industry programs and tutored for AFTRS, Screen Producers Australia (SPA), and The Mercury since 2020.
In 2026, she founded Story To Screen, a business dedicated to empowering emerging and early-career filmmakers to bring their stories to the screen.
Michelle has created and is currently writing three original series while developing the Hardy White Pictures slate—including an 8x1hr Trans-Tasman dystopian romantic odyssey backed by Sky NZ, New Zealand On Air, and the South Australian Film Corporation.
