Michelle Hardy has produced award-winning screen content across multiple formats and genres for over two decades and is the co-founder of Adelaide based scripted production company, Hardy White Pictures. Michelle was most recently the Head of Industry Programs at The Mercury, working with emerging and early career filmmakers in South Australia. Since 2020, Michelle has worked with Screen Producers Australia (SPA) across their industry programs and as a course convenor. From 2017 to 2020, Michelle was the VP of Scripted Development at Essential Media (now Perpetual Entertainment). Michelle’s scripted broadcast credits include Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am, Timothy, Back Seat Drivers, and the International Emmy® Award-winning multi-platform comedy series #7Dayslater. She is also an Associate Producer on three 6 x 1hr series of Under The Vines, produced by Perpetual Media and Libertine Pictures in association with Hardy White Pictures for AcornTV and TVNZ. Prior to moving into scripted, Michelle worked across numerous factual programs for the Seven Network including The Great Outdoors and Better Homes and Gardens as well as producing branded content campaigns for agencies, networks, and production companies in both the UK and Australia. Michelle is currently developing a slate of scripted TV projects for Hardy White Pictures, two of which she created.
