Jeffrey Engelen represents BETA FILM (www.betafilm.com) in North America and is responsible for its finished content and formats distribution. He also provides acquisition and co-production support to the head office in Munich, Germany. Before Beta Film, Engelen was Senior Vice President, Distribution at Canadian production outfit Thunderbird Films where he was responsible for the worldwide sales of the Thunderbird titles. Engelen also held the position of Senior Vice President, Distribution at theatrical feature distributor Myriad Pictures and the position of Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales at PorchLight Entertainment, an award-winning film and animation production and distribution company.

Engelen holds a Masters Degree in Business Culture, Organization and Management from VU Amsterdam as well as a BA in International Business, English and French from the Higher Institute for Economy and Management in Utrecht, Holland.
