Biography
Deborah joined BBC Studios Australia in early 2022, where she is currently overseeing their factual and entertainment slate including The Great Australian Bake Off, Mastermind, Dancing With the Stars, The 1% Club, Top Gear Australia and a number of domestically-commissioned factual series.
Prior to this she was at Screentime Australia in the role of Executive Producer of SAS Australia (Seven), and The School That Tried to End Racism (ABC) which was nominated for Best Documentary Series for the AACTA and AIDC Awards.
Deborah has also worked as an Executive Producer at Seven Studios where she oversaw productions including Pooch Perfect, Seven Year Switch, The Mentor, House Rules, Zumbo’s Just Desserts and Back with the Ex.
Her career spans Southern Star Entertainment, Endemol Shine, Fremantle Media, SBS and ABC, and shows such as World’s Strictest Parents, Skimpy (short doc), JTV Live, So You Think You Can Dance, Big Brother, Undercover Boss, The Movie Show, Pizza and Beauty and the Geek amongst many others.
